Silver Fund

A charter-governed mutual aid fund. The 7.77% fee is visible. The common fund is collective. The process treats you as a whole person.

This fund exists because people need help and other people want to give it. No more complicated than that. We hold money in common so that when someone in our community faces a crisis, the infrastructure is already there. The 7.77% fee keeps the lights on and feeds the common fund — a pool that belongs to everyone and can be deployed when no individual campaign covers the need.

The 7.77% fee

Every contribution has a transparent fee. Here's where it goes:

Payment processing (Stripe) 2.9% + 30¢
Silver infrastructure Remainder of 7.77%
Common fund (from infrastructure fee) 30%

The common fund is a collective pool. It can be deployed for needs that fall outside individual campaigns — bridge funding, emergency grants, or gaps in coverage.
